Friday 22nd May

English - Poetry Week

If you have completed all of the tasks this week, then you will have 4 different types of poems: a limerick poem, an acrostic poem, a nonsense poem and a narrative poem. Today you need to choose which one is your favourite!

Poetry Got Talent

Performing a poem is just as important as writing a poem. You have to perform a poem with a clear voice and with expression. Michael Rosen does this well with his nonsense poems! I have attached the link again for you to watch. Think about the way he uses his voice and facial expressions to perform the poem.

Nonsense Poems With Michael Rosen

Once you have performed your poem, you can send in your video to the class teacher who will popped it onto the page. If you do not want to video yourself, you can record yourself and send an audio or write your poem out and send it across. Enjoy! I can't wait to hear them!

Marvellous Maths!

It's challenge time from BBC Bitesize. I have copied the questions onto our website page to make it easier today. Happy problem solving!

Time Capsule!

Today (and maybe even over the holiday), create a time capsule . You can use the sheets below or you create your own. This is an extraordinary time and let's take time to record the special moments we have had!

I think I might even make one with Lucy. I know that one of her highlights will be the disco we had in our lounge where my parents joined us via skype! It was brilliant.
