Up levelling sentences.

Mr Loudon has had a go writing some descriptive sentences, but he's forgotten to use adjectives!

Can you make improvements to these sentences by adding in adjectives to describe the nouns? Remember to use a comma in between the adjectives to break them up.

e.g The ferocious, menacing lion has strong, sharp teeth.

Send your sentences to Mrs Manning to check.

Challenge yourself - can you also add a conjunction to extend the sentence and add more detail? (and, or, so, because)

1.  The lion has teeth.

2. The elephant has tusks.

3. The hippopotamus has a mouth.

4. The giraffe has a neck.
