Writing a blurb.

Every book has a blurb on the back cover. The blurb is a short paragraph that gives the reader an idea of what the book is about. It should encourage people to read the book.

Have a look at the blurb on the back of 'Owl Babies'. Can you write a similar blurb for your own story that you have written this week? Read this to someone in your family - does it persuade them to read your book?

You can decorate your blurb with pictures from the story.

Put this together with the rest of your work from this week to complete your book.
