Weekly Spellings

Spelling challenge - Can you create a wordsearch using this weeks spellings?

This week we are going to have a go at writing a non-fiction report about your favourite woodland animal - you can use the same animal from your work yesterday or chose a new one.

We are going to start by describing what your animal looks like.

Option 1

Draw a detailed picture of your animal and write labels to describe it. Try to use an adjective in each label.

Option 2

Write a descriptive paragraph to describe your animal. Think about the different body parts of your animal, think about how they move, think about what adjectives you would use to describe them.

Challenge - try to write descriptive sentences using two adjectives and a noun - for example 'The owl has soft, fluffy feathers.'
