Tuesday 28th April

Good Morning Year 4!

Let's make today a good day! I saw this quote the other day and thought it would be a nice on to share with you all.

Whilst everyday may not be good whilst we wait to return to school, it is important to make the best out of the situation. What are you going to do today to make you smile? How will you bring 'good' to other people in your household today? Remember to keep smiling Year 4!

Have you got any inspiring quotes to share with us? Send them in to us so we can share them with you all!

Today we are going to get creative! Chapter 4 is one of Miss Clarke's favourite chapter and she is a little sad that she can't be there to read it to you all. She loves the use of description in the chapter to help create a picture of the Space-Bat-Angel-Dragon.

Play the video again starting at 5mins and 25 seconds.

Can you spot any describing words?

Using the description from the book and your own imagination I would like you to recreate the image of the Space-Bat-Angel-Dragon!

You can do this as creatively as you like with the resources you have at home!

Here are some of my ideas:

Creating a model using things from the garden

Draw the image on a large piece paper

Create the image using home-made cakes

Draw the image on a wall or pavement using chalk

Create the model using items from your house

The possibilities are endless......

Don't forget to take a picture of your model
