Note to parents:
Well done for surviving the first week of your children being at home!
It sounds like everyone is managing their home situations brilliantly, we have been thrilled with the emails and photos we have been receiving. We will continue to share these on the class page so that the children remain in contact with each other.
Please don't worry about the amount of work your child is getting done. This situation is completely new and everyone and every family has their own challenges to deal with. If you are limited for school work time, please focus on reading.
Now for today's suggestions:
Something exciting for tomorrow on Wednesday at 10am we are planning to play Kahoot we will send a text with the pin about 5 mins before we are due to start. In class we usually use silly names but on this occasion please use your real name or initials. Parents you will need to download the Kahoot App for iphones or just go to the website and enter the pin from a computer or tablet.
Carry on using Mathletics and Timetable Rockstars. Continuing on from yesterday and keeping your measurement skills fresh try answering the following:
Keep writing those fantastic wow sentences including the 5 finger check! Could you link these sentences to "The Stone Age Boy" story? You could write them about the camp below:
Don't forget David Walliams "Elevenses" stories every day.
Audible also has a free trial with lots of children's audio books for free! You could snuggle up and listen to some Roald Dahl...
