Happy Wednesday: I love riddles so thought you could have a few to start the day. Can you work these out?If you have any of your own riddles email them to Miss P and I'll add them in another day.
Answers will be revealed tomorrow (but don't peep as I've not put them on yet!)
1) What is full of holes but still holds water?
2) Mary has four daughters and each of her daughters has a brother. How many children does Mary have?

4) What answer can you never answer yes to?
English: Another chapter of Ickabog today - Chapter 3 'Death of a Steamstress' . Apparently some children have been putting their illustrations on twitter and JK Rowling has actually replied or retweeted them! Why not have a go?
In Chapter Three we hear about the poor seamstress who died with one button left in her hand still to sew on to the outfit of the King.
Design and describe (with amazing vocabulary) your own glamorous outfit for the visit of the King of Pluritania.
Maths: A starter activity to get you thinking first - you might find drawing the pit helps you.
Day 3 of algebra. Today is substitution. Click on the link to watch the video.
Leaver's booklet activity: today you are going to fill in an A-Z of Alwoodley Primary School. Be as creative as you can- you can use adjectives that describe Alwoodley such as 'awesome', 'brilliant' or you can use nouns of things you do eg 'ukulele', 'forest school' etc. If you want to add pictures - feel free.
Again this sheet is in your pack. (Don't forget to stick it in afterwards!)
