Watch the KS1 BBC clip about Woodland habitats and complete the activities.

Your turn!

The next section of your non-fiction report will be all about where your woodland animal lives. Use the video, any books or websites about your animal to research where they live.

Can you write a paragraph describing the habitat of your animal? Does it live underground or in the treetops? What does the environment look like? Does your animal live alone or do they live in groups?

What title do you want to use for your writing? Did you find out any more interesting facts whilst researching your animal?
