Year 1 2020-2021
In Year 1 we have two classes Yew and Oak.

Welcome back to school! We are all really excited to be back with the children and are looking forward to a new school year. All the children will be returning to class “bubbles” as before. We are staggering the school day in order to get everyone on/off the site whilst observing social distancing. We politely ask that where possible adults drop children at the boundary of the school rather than entering the site. Where necessary to enter, please only send one adult per family. In year 1 we are starting school at 8.55am and we will be asking the children to line up so we can lead the children into school through separate doors. We will bring the children outside to line up at 3pm at the end of the day in the year 1 and 2 playground. We ask that you keep away from the doors and stand well back near the edge of the playground so that we can send the children from the line safely to you.
Children will return to school in full uniform apart from on days when they have PE when we ask that you send them in their school PE kit. In Year 1 our P.E. days will be Monday and Tuesday.
Children may bring essential items from home into school: lunchboxes, coats, book bags etc. However non-essential items must not come between home and school e.g. pencil cases, show and tell items etc. In Year 1 we will collect reading books in on a Monday.
