The Friends of Alwoodley are a group of local residents who work together to plan community events that will support fundraising for our school.  If you would like to join this group, please email office@alwoodley.net and we will put you in touch with the group admin.

Fundraising ambitions

During the academic year 2024-25 school has transformed playtimes in partnership with OPAL (outdoor play and learning). Phase one has seen the introduction of lots of areas including: Loose parts, Messy Cafe, Spinning Tops, Dressing up and a sandpit to name a few.  Plans for phase two are bigger and better but will come at a cost. We would love to install an all weather fire pit area, a permanent gazebo over our sandpit and some permanent welly storage.  Watch this space for our fundraising events!
